Faculty Position in Stratigraphic Paleontology, Yale University

The Department of Geology & Geophysics at Yale University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment in the area of stratigraphic paleontology. Relevant fields include, but are not restricted to, organism-sediment interactions, controls on fossilization through time, macrostratigraphy, paleoecology and paleoenvironments, and evolution in a stratigraphic context.

They seek candidates with outstanding prospects for research, scholarly leadership, and teaching excellence who will complement the existing strengths of the Department. A successful applicant will develop and implement independent, externally-funded research programs including a strong field component, teach and advise students, and facilitate interdisciplinary research.
